Vray + tS 7.6 GI lighting using a skydome.

Basic setup: A subdivided ground plane intersects a half sphere 'skydome'
Dome object attributes have shadowcasting off.
Inside the dome and above the plane is a camera, and a cube named 'Francis.'
That's it. No 'normal' lights or other objects present.
GI enabled, environment lighting only.
Here, GI and skydome surface share the same image:

Now, let's change the GI image under 'Environment' to a bright orange sky and see the resulting render.
Sure looks like the GI is penetrating right through the skydome.
Which is a good thing.

Now here's a peek at the outside world and it's render, this time with a gradient used in the GI image.

So... what do you think?
Does the GI 'ignore' the non-shadowcasting skydome or not?
